Canada’s National Tower, the country's celebration destination
A jewel within Canada Lands Company’s portfolio, the CN Tower is the country’s celebration destination and attracts millions of visitors from across Canada and around the world.
Throughout its history, Canada’s National Tower (or the simply, the CN Tower) has received many titles including Wonder of the Modern World and the world’s tallest freestanding structure.
Standing at a jaw-dropping height of 553.3 metres/1,815.5 feet, visitors to the Tower can enjoy its breathtaking views of the city and many exciting offerings. The CN Tower’s world-famous Glass Floors and EdgeWalk, the world’s highest most extreme urban adventure, are a delight to even the biggest of thrill seekers, while its award-winning restaurant is unlike any other. The elevated dining experience at 360 Restaurant celebrates Canadian cuisine and a wine selection from the world’s highest wine cellar, as designated by Guinness World Records.
As its proud owner and manager, Canada Lands continually finds ways to innovate the CN Tower’s timeless experience. In 2018, the company completed a $16-million renovation of the attraction’s main observation level. The renovation focused on modernizing the space and gave particular attention to the need for improved accessibility. New floor-to-ceiling glass “Window Walls” were installed, giving guests of all abilities the opportunity to experience unobstructed, panoramic views of the city.
This award is presented to an organization that operates an outstanding accessible hospitality and tourism business that complies with Ontario Accessibility standards.
