James Cox is Vice President, Real Estate (Central Region) and leads Canada Lands Company’s real estate activities in Ontario and Manitoba. James has more than 25 years of experience leading land development and housing projects and has been with the Company for over 15 years. James has also worked for integrated developer builders, as a land use planning consultant, and as a community planner in New York State. He has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree (Honours Urban and Regional Planning) from the University of Waterloo. James is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP). He has been involved over the years with Ontario Professional Planners Institute, the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Toronto Board of Trade (TBOT).
